Coconut Water Iced Tea with Fresh Lemon

The inspiration for this recipe came after seeing a post on homemade coconut water lemonade and I’m actually kind of surprised I haven’t tried this before.  I make my own real iced tea all the time, so this adaptation wasn’t a stretch for me.

If you’re a tea person like me, you definitely need to try this one!

Coconut Water Iced Tea with Fresh Lemon

  • 2 cups organic coconut water
  • 3 teaspoons Earl Grey loose leaf tea
  • 2-3 teaspoons agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

In a large measuring cup, combine all ingredients and gently stir to combine.  Allow to cold steep for 7 to 10 minutes or to the desired strength and strain into a pitcher.  Keep refrigerated and use within one week.

When serving, garnish with fresh mint or fresh sliced lemon zest and enjoy!
