Raw Sugar and Coconut Milk Exfoliating Cubes

My inspiration for this DIY came from Herbivore Botanicals and their amazing Coconut Milk Bath Soak that I spoiled myself with this past weekend.  I wanted a way to enjoy all the benefits of creamy coconut milk in the shower as well…so I decided to create some coconut milk shower cubes!

I’m no stranger to making shower cubes, you can find my coffee and mint version HERE!  This recipe is loosely based on that formula, but features some of the ingredients that make the Herbivore Botanicals bath soak feel and smell so amazing!

Raw Sugar and Coconut Milk Exfoliating Cubes

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons raw or brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon fine ground coconut fiber
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut milk powder
  • 5 drops vitamin E
  • 2-5 drops vanilla essential oil

Stir together the sugar, coconut fiber and milk powder and divide equally into 6 wells of an ice cube tray.  Melt the coconut oil for a few seconds in a double boiler and stir in the additional oils.  Pour the oil equally over the sugar mixture and place the tray in the refrigerator.  Once firm, remove the cubes, place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Use as desired in the shower or bath to exfoliate and intensely moisturize your skin!
