Rose Petal and Seaweed Salt Soak

Making your own seaweed soak is surprisingly easy and full of highly beneficial nutrients and minerals for your skin.  I added fresh rose petals to the mix since I happened to have some on hand, but feel free to substitute for dried roses or a few more drops of essential fragrance oil.

You don’t have to add any fragrance enhancing ingredients if you’re looking for a more pure soak, but I find the smell of wet seaweed lingers on my skin without the fragrance oils…so it’s simply my personal preference.

Rose Petal and Seaweed Salt Soak

  • 1/4 cup dried seaweed
  • 1/4 cup dead sea salt
  • 1/4 cup Epsom salt
  • 1  tablespoon rose petals
  • 10 drops chamomile essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir to thoroughly combine.  Transfer into a muslin bag, add to very hot running bath water and soak for 20 to 30 minutes.

Double or triple the recipe so you have enough for a few weeks.  Treat yourself to this relaxing and nourishing soak every weekend and you’ll find yourself fully recharged for the week ahead!
